
Classic Vanilla Marshmallows

Soft, pillowy marshmallows made with Solara Gelatine for a naturally rich, collagen-boosting treat.
🛒 Ingredients:
- 15g (1.5 tbsp) Solara Gelatine
- 120ml (½ cup) cold water (for blooming)
- 200g (1 cup) pure maple syrup
- 60ml (¼ cup) water (for syrup)
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
📌 Directions:
1️⃣ Bloom the Gelatine
- Sprinkle 15g of Solara Gelatine over 120ml cold water in a large mixing bowl.
- Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until fully bloomed.
2️⃣ Prepare the Syrup
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine 200g maple syrup and 60ml water.
- Stir gently until warmed through—do not boil—just heat enough to blend smoothly.
3️⃣ Whip the Mixture
- Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer), slowly pour the warm syrup into the bloomed gelatine while beating on low speed.
- Increase speed to high and whip for 6-8 minutes until light, fluffy, and tripled in volume.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, then mix briefly to incorporate.
4️⃣ Set the Marshmallows
- Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined tray and smooth the top.
- Let it sit at room temperature for 4-6 hours (or overnight) to firm up.
5️⃣ Slice & Serve
- Dust with arrowroot powder or finely ground coconut sugar to prevent sticking.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
