Classic Vanilla Marshmallows

Soft, pillowy marshmallows made with Solara Gelatine for a naturally rich, collagen-boosting treat.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 15g (1.5 tbsp) Solara Gelatine
  • 120ml (½ cup) cold water (for blooming)
  • 200g (1 cup) pure maple syrup
  • 60ml (¼ cup) water (for syrup)
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

📌 Directions:

1️⃣ Bloom the Gelatine

  • Sprinkle 15g of Solara Gelatine over 120ml cold water in a large mixing bowl.
  • Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until fully bloomed.

2️⃣ Prepare the Syrup

  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine 200g maple syrup and 60ml water.
  • Stir gently until warmed through—do not boil—just heat enough to blend smoothly.

3️⃣ Whip the Mixture

  • Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer), slowly pour the warm syrup into the bloomed gelatine while beating on low speed.
  • Increase speed to high and whip for 6-8 minutes until light, fluffy, and tripled in volume.
  • Add vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, then mix briefly to incorporate.

4️⃣ Set the Marshmallows

  • Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined tray and smooth the top.
  • Let it sit at room temperature for 4-6 hours (or overnight) to firm up.

5️⃣ Slice & Serve

  • Dust with arrowroot powder or finely ground coconut sugar to prevent sticking.
  • Slice into squares and enjoy!
